Julie R. Burick

Julie R. Burick is a partner and shareholder of Adinolfi Roberto & Burick, PA. She is Certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Matrimonial Law Attorney, a distinction held by a small number of New Jersey attorneys, and one that allows her to be recognized as an expert in divorce and family law. Julie earned her certification in 2021 after meeting the Supreme Court's rigorous application, peer review, and examination standards.

For Julie, family law is a calling. She believes her role is to use her voice and her skills to help people through one of the most distressing times of their lives, and clients feel that commitment from the first conversation. She found that calling before she even finished law school, working as a law clerk for Camden Regional Legal Services in its Gloucester County office during her first year of law school, where she handled a wide variety of matters, including family law issues.

After earning her J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law – Camden and being admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1999, Julie clerked for the Honorable John Tomasello, J.S.C. (ret.), in the Gloucester County Family Part. She began her private practice career in the family law department at Gerstein Grayson, then returned to Legal Services as a staff attorney from 2002 to 2011, representing families who needed a strong advocate most. In 2011, she went on to head the family law department at Helmer, Paul, Conley & Kasselman before joining our firm.

Julie handles all aspects of divorce and family law, with extensive experience in domestic violence matters, including restraining order hearings, and in child protection cases brought by the New Jersey Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCPP). She also has extensive experience in family law appeals and helps clients evaluate whether an appeal, a motion for reconsideration, or another post-judgment option makes the most sense.
