Thomas A. Roberto

Thomas A. Roberto is the Managing Partner of Adinolfi Roberto & Burick, PA, and focuses his practice exclusively on family law. Tom represents clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody and parenting time, child support, alimony, equitable distribution, domestic violence, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. He handles every stage of family law litigation, including trials, appeals and emergent applications, as well as pre- and post-judgment applications.

Tom brings particular expertise to high-net-worth divorce. When a marriage involves significant wealth, such as closely held businesses and professional practices, executive compensation, stock options and restricted stock, investment and real estate portfolios, or family trusts, the stakes and the complexity rise quickly. Tom works closely with forensic accountants, business valuators, and financial professionals to identify, value, and protect what matters, and he brings the discretion clients with significant assets and public profiles expect. He also drafts and negotiates prenuptial and postnuptial agreements for business owners, executives, professionals, and families seeking to protect premarital assets, family businesses, and inheritances.

Admitted to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Tom is a member of the Family Law Section Executive Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association. Tom is also a managing editor of the New Jersey Family Lawyer, a publication of the Family Law Section, and has lectured on numerous family law topics for NJICLE and other professional organizations throughout New Jersey.

Tom received his B.A. from The College of New Jersey and his J.D. with honors from Widener University School of Law. He served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Terrence R. Cook, J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Family Part. Tom resides with his wife and two children in South Jersey.
