We’re Here – Updated COVID-19 Response

We all have been navigating the coronavirus public health emergency and adapting moment to moment.  During this time, we are acutely aware of how our clients are being adversely impacted in all aspects of their lives.  For families going through divorce, some of these issues have created even more uncertainty and stress in an already difficult time.  Many of our clients are also now dealing with parenting time and financial issues that did not exist a week ago.

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy has now issued an Executive Order 107 and 108 mandating residents stay home and stop conducting business as usual. However, even though many businesses are currently required to be closed, we want to reassure our clients (and anyone who needs family law advice) that we are here.  We have worked hard during this time to make sure systems are in place so we can continue to work remotely to protect your interests and make things easier for you. Our office continues to work with our adversaries and the courts to advocate for our clients and monitor their unique cases and pressing parenting time and financial concerns. Do not hesitate to reach out to us because you are currently laid off or are experiencing financial hardship.  We are concerned for our clients and if something has come up, pick up the phone or email us.  We will figure it all out together.  In times like this we are reminded of our shared humanity and concerns for the future, but we will get through this.  Things will get back to a more normal way of life, and when that happens, let’s be on the other side knowing we did all we could to look out for each other.
