The Mother to Four Special Needs Children is Honored for her Heroism and Tenacity Amidst the Pandemic
HADDONFIELD, N.J. — October 21, 2020 — The law firm of Adinolfi, Lieberman, Burick, Falkenstein, Roberto & Molotsky, PA (ALBFRM) is pleased to congratulate Senior Associate Jaime Golin Friedman, ESQ, for her inclusion in SJ Magazine’s highly-esteemed “Women’s Issue.”
The estate and trust attorney, who is also the mother to four special needs children, was lauded for her remarkable resilience, strength, and heroism amidst the pandemic as her role quickly transformed from mom to teacher, therapist, aid, and mentor in the poignant article “Going It Alone” (Kate Morgan, October, 2020).
As the author writes, “When the state shutdown brought life outside people’s homes to a grinding halt this spring, many parents struggled to adapt. Though schools and other programs have since transitioned, with varying amounts of success, to a virtual or socially distanced learning environment, it’s been even harder on families of kids with special needs to make the switch. Like the Friedman siblings, many depend heavily on those resources. Without those supports, even more falls onto their parents. And that’s why Friedman is in overdrive just trying to keep her kids from falling behind.”
However, for Friedman, who has spent her adult life helping others as both a lawyer and advocating for the special needs community, this is just what she has to do for now.
“They really are happy, and so I guess at the end of the day that’s the most important thing,” she says.
Friedman is a member of both the New Jersey and Pennsylvania bars. She obtained her law degree from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law in 2001 and she obtained a B.A. in Public Relations with a Spanish Minor from the Pennsylvania State University (Main Campus) in 1998. As part of her college education, she spent a semester abroad in Seville, Spain.
Prior to joining the firm in 2013, Friedman served as an Associate in the Trusts & Estates Department of the law firm of Archer & Greiner, P.C., for twelve years. She continues her work in this area helping her clients to develop and implement their estate planning goals.
